The Kikeruka app (the "App") respects your privacy and works to protect your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used. By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to this Privacy Policy.
The App may collect the following information:
1.1 The ISBN of a book you have scanned
1.2 Your search history
1.3 Device information (device type, OS version and so on)
1.4 A device token, where you use the notification feature
Collected information is used for the following purposes:
2.1 Providing and improving the features of the App
2.2 Improving the user experience
2.3 Diagnosing and resolving technical problems
2.4 Sending audiobook release notifications
We do not share users' personal information with third parties except in the following cases:
3.1 Where the user has consented
3.2 Where it is necessary to respond to a legal request
3.3 Where it is necessary to protect our rights, property or safety
3.4 Where it is necessary as part of a corporate transaction such as a business transfer, merger or acquisition
4.1 The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and other information in order to serve those advertisements.
4.2 For how advertising data is collected and used, please refer to Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
4.3 There is currently no way to turn off the display of advertisements.
5.1 Data such as your search history is stored primarily on your own device.
5.2 The device token used for notifications may be stored on Firebase servers.
You have the following rights:

6.2 Correction of inaccurate information
6.3 Deletion of information (which you can carry out by uninstalling the App)
6.4 Stopping notifications (which you can change in the settings)
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect users' information. Please understand, however, that transmitting information over the internet or through mobile platforms is never completely secure.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy as necessary. Where it changes, we will give notice within the App or post the change on our website. By continuing to use the App after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated Privacy Policy.
