Who we are, why we build, and what we ship.
Build products that maximize how efficiently you work and learn, grounded in scientific evidence.
mibuki is not a personal label. It is a brand built around that one sentence. The lineup will grow; the standard will not. Whatever the domain, we only implement methods whose evidence we have checked.
A day is 24 hours, and nobody gets more.
If the problem is “I want to, but I have no time,” the only move left is to raise the result you get per hour. So we do not invest in ways to try harder. We invest in the science of efficiency.
What we adopt and what we refuse is decided by three principles: choose by effect size, remove friction, and measure it, then publish it. Those criteria, and the list of things we will not do, are written out on Approach.
Read our approach →mibuki was started by one person. Here is who is accountable for it.
Founder / mibuki
Founder of mibuki. Plans, designs and builds the products, and is accountable for the principles — and the refusals — written on this site.
