What This Policy Covers
This Policy explains how personal information is handled on the website mibuki operates (mibuki.dev).

Information We Collect
This website has no account registration. The only information collected is the following.
- What you send through the contact form (set out under "How Enquiries Are Handled" below)
- What the web server keeps as a record of the request (time of access, IP address, referrer, browser type and so on). The IP address is also used briefly to stop the contact form being submitted repeatedly — the address itself is not stored even then.
This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure traffic. It sets no cookies and stores no identifier in your browser. This website uses no cookies at all.
What it records is aggregate: the page viewed, the referrer, the browser and device type, and country-level location. Your IP address is sent to Cloudflare when a page loads, but mibuki never receives it and cannot identify individual visitors.
The site does, however, load fonts and icons from external services in order to render (Google Fonts and cdnjs). Those providers receive your IP address and browser information when a page loads. mibuki does not receive any of it.
Purpose of Use
Collected information is used for the following purposes.
- Providing, operating and maintaining the services
- Improving the services and developing new features
- Providing user support
- Complying with legal obligations
Disclosure to Third Parties
mibuki does not provide users' personal information to third parties except in the following cases.
- Where the user has consented
- Where required by law
- Where it is provided, to the extent necessary, to a contractor engaged to help deliver the services
Retention Period
mibuki retains personal information only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes above. Where a legal obligation applies, information may be retained for as long as is necessary to meet that obligation.
Your Rights
You have the following rights in respect of your own personal information.
- The right to request disclosure of your personal information
- The right to request correction or deletion of your personal information
- The right to request that use of your personal information be suspended
How Enquiries Are Handled
Anything you send through the contact form is handled as follows.
- What is collected: the app concerned, the type of enquiry, the message, your name, your email address, the device you use, whether you are a premium member, whether you want a reply, and the display language — together with the browser information sent with the request (User-Agent). Your name and email address are optional.
- Where it is stored: in Firestore on Google Cloud Platform, in the Tokyo region (asia-northeast1).
- Where it is announced: a summary is posted automatically to an internal mibuki Discord channel so that an enquiry is not missed. That channel is not public.
- What it is used for: answering your enquiry, and investigating and fixing defects. Nothing else — it is not used for advertising.
- How long it is kept: only for as long as is necessary for the purposes above. If you want it deleted, ask through the same form.
