LangDict 利用規約

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") establish the terms of use for the individually developed application "LangDict" (hereinafter referred to as "App"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App and use the App after agreeing to the contents.
These Terms establish the conditions regarding the use of the App between users of the App (hereinafter referred to as "Users") and the developer (hereinafter referred to as "Operator").
Users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms by using the App.
The App does not have a member registration function. However, when using paid features, registration may be required through external services such as Google Play or the App Store.
Users can access paid features of the App (hereinafter referred to as "Premium") through auto-renewing subscriptions or a one-time purchase (a so-called "lifetime" plan) via Google Play or the App Store.
Details regarding fees, payment methods, renewal, and cancellation follow the regulations of each platform. Subscription cancellation is not implemented within the App and must be done through the store used by the User. Refunds are handled in accordance with the policies of the platform where the purchase was made.
The one-time "lifetime" purchase grants access to the Premium features offered at any given time, for as long as the Operator continues to offer the App (the service lifetime). It does not refer to the lifetime of the User, and it does not guarantee that any specific feature will remain available in its current form. The content of Premium features may change over time as described in Articles 6 and 7.
The App is intended to provide vocabulary and sentence notebooks for language learning. It is not intended for other purposes.
The App provides AI-assisted features such as translation, image text recognition (OCR), audio transcription, and AI-powered deck generation. To provide these features, content entered or attached by the User (such as text, images, PDF files, audio recordings, and imported conversation logs) is transmitted to and processed by third-party AI services (currently Google's Gemini API) and by servers operated by the Operator.
The handling of such content is described in the Privacy Policy.
The availability and behavior of AI features depend on third-party services and may be affected by their specifications, outages, pricing, or terms of service.
Where Premium AI features are described as "unlimited", this means use without a preset count limit within the scope of reasonable, personal language-learning use. It does not permit automated, scripted, commercial-scale, or otherwise abnormal use.
To keep the service sustainable, safe, and affordable for all Users, the Operator may set or change rate limits, usage quotas, quality settings, and the underlying AI models at any time. The Operator may also throttle, restrict, or suspend AI features for usage patterns that depart significantly from normal personal use or that place an excessive burden on the service.
AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI output. Users are responsible for verifying important content themselves.
The Operator may add to, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App and its features (including paid features) as necessary — for example, for technical, security, cost, legal, or third-party service reasons.
For material changes that significantly affect paid features, the Operator will provide reasonable advance notice through in-App notification or other appropriate means, except in urgent cases such as security incidents, legal compliance, or the sudden termination of a third-party service.
The Operator intends to maintain the core learning features of the App (spaced-repetition review and user-created decks) throughout the service lifetime. AI-assisted features evolve continuously and may change as described in Article 6.
Users shall not engage in the following actions when using the App:
The Operator has the right to suspend App usage for Users who violate these Terms or engage in actions that place excessive load on the service.
In cases of severe violations, the Operator may take legal action.
Important: The Operator makes no guarantees regarding the provision of the App. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator is not responsible for any damages arising from the use of the App, from changes to or termination of the App or its features, or from errors in AI-generated content.
The Operator is not involved in any disputes between Users or between Users and third parties related to the use of the App.
The Operator respects Users' privacy and handles personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
The handling of Users' personal information is specified separately in the Privacy Policy.
The Operator may modify these Terms when the modification conforms to the general interest of Users, or when it is reasonable in light of the purpose of the App and the circumstances of the modification.
When modifying these Terms, the Operator will announce the modified Terms and their effective date in advance through appropriate methods such as in-App notifications.
Users are deemed to have agreed to the modified Terms by continuing to use the App after the effective date.
Japanese law shall govern the interpretation and application of these Terms.
The court having jurisdiction over the location of the Operator shall have exclusive jurisdiction of the first instance for any disputes arising regarding the App.
